Terms of service for Guided Career Quest LLC

Welcome to Guided Career Quest! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Guided Career Quest website located at guidedcareerquest.com (the "Site"), our AI-powered career platform located at portal.guidedcareerquest.com (the "Platform"), and our personalized coaching services (collectively, the "Services"). 

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

1. Description of Services 

Guided Career Quest LLC provides a suite of career development services, including: 

  • AI Self-Service Tools: A subscription-based platform that provides tools for resume building, cover letter generation, interview preparation, and offer negotiation. 

  • Personalized Career Packages: One-on-one, fee-based coaching and document preparation services provided directly by our expert coaches. 

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities 

To access the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and completeness of the data and documents you create or upload using our Services. 

3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Free Trials (AI Self-Service Tools) 

  • Subscriptions: Our AI Self-Service Tools are offered on a recurring subscription basis (Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it. 

  • Free Trial: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. You will be required to enter your payment details to sign up for the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. 

  • Billing: You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for your subscription fees. Your credit card statement descriptor will appear as "Guided Career Quest." 

4. Personalized Career Packages 

Our Personalized Career Packages (e.g., "Career Coaching," "Career Champion Bundle") are separate, one-time services. Payment is due at the time of booking. The scope and deliverables of these services are as described on our "Services & Pricing" page. 

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy 

We have two different refund policies for our two different types of services. 

  • For AI Self-Service Tools (Subscriptions): We offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee on your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment by contacting support. After 30 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription's renewal at any time through your account portal. 

  • For Personalized Career Packages (Coaching Services): Due to the highly personalized and service-based nature of our one-on-one coaching and document preparation, all sales are final once work has commenced. You may request a full refund only if you cancel in writing before our expert has begun work on your materials or before your coaching session has occurred. 

6. Intellectual Property 

The Site, the Platform, and all of their original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Guided Career Quest LLC and its licensors. The resume and cover letter documents that you create using the Services are your own. 

7. Prohibited Conduct 

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to reverse-engineer the platform, or to share your account credentials with others. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who violate these terms. 

8. Disclaimers and No Guarantees 

Guided Career Quest is a tool to support your career journey. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality tools and expert guidance. However, we do not warrant or guarantee any specific outcomes or results, including but not limited to job interviews, job offers, or any particular career advancement. Your ultimate success is dependent on your own effort, skills, background, and various market factors beyond our control. The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. 

9. Limitation of Liability 

By purchasing our services, you agree that the total liability of Guided Career Quest LLC, its members, and employees for any and all claims, losses, or damages arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the total amount of fees you have paid for the services. 

10. Governing Law 

These Terms shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. 

11. Changes to Terms 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
